If anything I suspect a general Con-Lab swing. However that will hide a lot of churn. I imagine the Tories will gain ground in the south, but the LDs could mop up the anti-Lab vote in many other parts of the country (while also losing some votes to Greens). Which is pretty much what happened last year, really.Stephen Tallhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11720133001571029678noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11862686.post-72992381990626277352007-04-04T09:47:00.000+01:002007-04-04T09:47:00.000+01:00Based on your track record, we should take your pr...Based on your track record, we should take your predictions seriously. The run up to last May's election was marred by poor headlines for Labour. Although the polls didn't show a very big Tory lead, you could sense that lots of Tories were very determined to vote and Labour were demoralised - so unless Labour encounter similarly negative headlines in the run up I agree that the discrepancy between polling and actual results will not be so great. If your predictions turn out to be correct, it will represent a significant Lib to Con swing. I'd be interested to know in what areas/demographics you see this happening. Sorry for not giving my own predictions, but I'd like to have a guess closer to the time.Praguetoryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16520923731691837948noreply@blogger.com
